Media Player sdk
PV's media player SDK is available as an embedded application or as an aftermarket product through application stores. Offered for iOS, Android and Windows platforms, our media player SDK supports the following:
- DRM Support: PlayReady, Windows Media DRM, secure streaming of HLS (HTTP Live Streaming or Apple Live Streaming)
- Streaming Protocols: HLS, Microsoft Smooth Streaming (MSS), Real Time Protocol (RTP), Shoutcast and Progressive download
- Services Support: Ultraviolet (UV)
- Video Formats: MPEG-4, H.264 (AVC) and WMV
- Audio Formats: AAC, MP3 and WMA

Twonky SDK
The TwonkyServer and Twonky Client SDKs make your mobile device part of the connected home. Available for Android, iOS, Linux, Mac and Windows platforms, as well as CE devices, Twonky software ensures that mobile devices can discover other devices on the home network and share media with those devices. Media sharing capabilities include streaming, copying and synchronization. The TwonkyServer SDK features:
- Support of UPnP, DLNA, Airplay and WebDAV devices and applications
- Device adaptation to adjust to different device protocols, implementations and capabilities
- Transcoding functionality and content adaptation for online services
- HTML, RSS and application programming interfaces
- Digital media player or renderer functionality, to allow either the player or server device to control playback commands
- Scheduled recording of compatible Digital Video Recorders (DVRs)*
